Resume template

The Two-column resume template.

Two-column pairs a compact sidebar — contact details, skills, education, interests — with a wider main column for your work experience. It fits noticeably more information on a single page than a single-column layout, without the page feeling crowded, because dense lists (skills, education) live visually separate from prose (experience bullets).

Best for

  • Candidates with a long skills list or multiple certifications to show at a glance
  • Mid-to-senior professionals with enough experience that space is at a premium
  • Anyone who wants their skills and education visible without scrolling past experience first

ATS compatibility

Multi-column layouts are the one style some older, poorly-built parsers can misread column order on. This template renders sidebar and main content as clean, separate text blocks to minimize that risk, but if you're applying somewhere you know uses a strict legacy ATS, Compact ATS is the more conservative choice.

Skills get their own lane

Ranked skills sit in the sidebar so they're visible immediately, instead of competing for space at the bottom of the page.

Denser without feeling cluttered

Splitting contact/education/skills from experience lets both columns breathe independently.

Education stays visible

Useful for recent graduates or candidates whose degree is directly relevant — it doesn't get buried below a long work history.
