Resume template

The Bold header resume template.

Bold header opens with a full-width dark band — your name and headline set in light text on ink — before settling into the same clean, single-column structure as the rest of the templates here. It's the most visually distinctive option: memorable in a stack of otherwise-identical resumes, without sacrificing a readable, linear body.

Best for

  • Design, marketing, product, and other roles where a resume is itself a small design artifact
  • Candidates applying somewhere they know a human reviews resumes before any automated screening
  • Anyone who wants their resume to be visually memorable in a large applicant pool

ATS compatibility

The header is styling (background color and text contrast), not an image, so the name and headline still extract as plain text. That said, in fields with strict, parser-first screening, Compact ATS remains the more conservative pick.

A header that gets noticed

The dark polarity-flip is the first thing a reviewer sees — useful when you're one of dozens of similarly-formatted resumes in an inbox.

Bold header, conservative body

Past the header, the layout is the same readable single column as Clean — the visual statement doesn't come at the cost of scannability.

Pairs well with a profile picture

The header band was designed with an optional profile picture in mind, for fields where including one is standard.
